German dry bulk owner Oldendorff has sold a ship despite softening prices as the market takes a breather.
Sales registers indicate that the German post-panamax expert has sold six ships, with four sold in pairs since June. The Henning Oldendorff-led company recently sold another vessel, the 11-year-old, 96,000 dwt, Imabari-built, scrubber-fitted Claas Oldendorff, for $27 million.
This sale price matches a transaction from early April when Cobelfret, another active European seller, sold a sister ship, the non-scrubber-fitted Lowlands Rise, now named HC Wisdom, to Dongguan Haichang for $26 million.
