Cape collision in Australia destroys LNG fuel tank

A video has emerged of a Cape Collision, a dramatic accident that occurred earlier this month involving the puncturing of an LNG fuel tank onboard a Korean capesize. On July 16, the HL Eco, a 2020-built duel-fuel capesize belonging to Seoul-headquartered H-Line, lost power while manoeuvring to anchor at Hay Point in Queensland. 

HL ECO (IMO: 9869332) is a Bulk Carrier and is sailing under the flag of Panama. Her length overall (LOA) is 292 meters and her width is 45 meters.
