A ship collided with two other ships sailing near the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday, shipping sources told Reuters, while the British maritime security company Ambrey earlier reported an incident off the coast of the United Arab Emirates.
Appears that the tankers ADALYNN and FRONT EAGLE collided.
Ambrey earlier stated that the causes of the collision, which took place 22 nautical miles east of Khour Fakkan in the United Arab Emirates, are not related to “security” issues.

The incident occurred as Iran and Israel exchange missile fire for the fifth day after Israel’s widespread strikes on Friday aimed at preventing Tehran’s nuclear program.

Sources told Reuters that “electronic jamming” of commercial shipping navigation systems has increased in recent days around the Strait of Hormuz and the broader Gulf area, directly affecting ships sailing in the region.
About one-fifth of the world’s total oil consumption passes through the strait. From early 2022 until last month, roughly 17.8 to 20.8 million barrels of crude oil, condensates, and fuels were passing daily through the area, according to Vortexa data.
